For 40 years, Neil served as the Northern Representative for Vold, Jones & Vold (VJV), one of Alberta’s most respected livestock marketing companies. His longstanding role with VJV keeps him tapped into the pulse of the cattle industry - giving him real-time awareness of market shifts, pricing cycles, and what serious buyers are looking for.

Neil also spent 8 years as part of an agricultural risk management team, working directly with producers to help them navigate everything from volatile markets to operational risk. That experience gives him a sharp eye for the financial realities producers face—and the tools to guide them through big decisions with clarity and confidence.

Alongside his sons, Neil runs a 1,200-head cow-calf operation, giving him hands-on knowledge of the challenges, opportunities, and true value of operating a ranch. His combination of market awareness, risk management expertise, and real experience allows him to bring serious buyers to the table and position listings in a way that speaks directly to the industry.
